Another failed musician who mistakes pastorate for ego gratification and then backdoors the congregants to get his failed/never was music career a built in audience. At least the Irish priests could sing.
Wow. Folks applauded that. Do you think they were under threat of discipline? If you had to gauge their seriousness by the look of strain on their faces as they played and croaked and the effort put into staging, you’d have to say they took themselves seriously. That’s the hiccup between reality and who they think they are that let’s you know. It doesn’t take years or treatises on theology or even much discussion. It’s just that disconnect. Sociopaths give themselves away in a similar manner. It’s that look of flat effect or lack of appropriate response to an outside stimulus that tells you this isn’t a problem that will be resolved rationally.
Charts, interesting. Did not know that. But I was referring to DW’s embarrassing act. I forwarded to the end to see if there was any acknowledgement that their performance was parody worthy. No such relief to be had.
Kudos to Ali for the Judy Garland clip — Miss Garland definitely adds value to this thread. She performed in a time when actors could act, sing and dance.

I’m sure it was not in a church service but was part of one of the many wonderful cultural events with which the Wilsonites have blessed their little corner of paradise.
Heinous. Flagrant. Dougish. This doesn’t seem like the best way to redeem the culture or the city — even one in Idaho.
