Our very own D.G. Hart recently visited Reformed Forum to speak about his book Calvinism: A History on Christ the Center. After listening to the latest episode, browse Dr. Hart’s previous interviews and lectures in their archive. It includes an excellent series on J. Gresham Machen.
Thanks for the update, the show is kind of hit and miss for me.
Did the crew dance around during and after gleefully tell you that you know nothing about Machen at all? (or the Bible, or Shaeffer, or the ’64 Phillies)?

If you want to read and follow a throughly historical trail of Reformed Christianity, then read this book. Kudos Dr. Hart!

Of course you remain in my head, brother! You remain a crucial part of my thesis. [See comments. I do not talk behind your back, as some do here behind mine. Ding.]

The history of Calvinism is not synonymous with Calvinism: A History, is all. Indeed, as a student of history, I’ve come to regard you not just as an historian, but part of Calvinist history your ownbadself. Best regards as always, and you really do owe me some points if only for being the only person to ever recognize your avatar as one Dick Allen.

Nice interview. Camden gives a plug for the Des Moines conference at the end. Chilly in central Iowa this morning, but no snow. Golf course is still open.
Speaking of, my boss, who I don’t think has told a joke in the nearly 17 years I’ve worked for him, told me a good one yesterday.
Boss: I know how to make a small fortune owning a golf course.
Erik: Really, how?
Boss: Start with a large fortune
